a large-scale Expo will be held again in Osaka in the Kansai region.
In this memorable year,
we will energetically boost Osaka
through a never-before-seen Ekiden relay race to support EXPO 2025.
The Ekinden teams that will connect the two Expo sites
consist of the top athletes from Japan’s companies and university students,
reaching the goal with the highest morale.
Conveying traditions, the Ekiden teams will relay their Tasuki sash, the Japanese baton, to aim for the finish line.
Featuring the theme of lives, EXPO 2025 will work with people of the world, to meet the challenge of the co-creation of the future.
Both bear hope for the next stage.

"ACN EXPO EKIDEN 2025" to be held on Sunday, March 3, 16 in commemoration of the Osaka-Kansai Expo
This is a dream relay race where top corporate and university teams will collide for the first time in history.
The course for this tournament was announced on Monday, October 10st!
The course covers a total of 7 sections covering a total distance of approximately 55km, from Suita Expo Commemoration Park to Yumeshima, Osaka, and the Kansai Expo site.
This time, it has been decided that DREAMS COME TRUE will be in charge of the theme song for the event! Osaka is a special place for DREAMS COME TRUE, as it is the city where DREAMS COME TRUE first made a breakthrough, the city where the staff who first called DREAMS COME TRUE "Dorikamu" were located, and the city where DREAMS COME TRUE debuted. In addition, the song has also been chosen as the theme song for the "Asumirai ABC EXPO Project"! With this theme song, ABC Group will liven up the Osaka-Kansai Expo!
The title of the tournament theme song sung by DREAMS COME TRUE this time is"Here it comes!"Decided on.

Corporate Team:A total of nine teams have been selected, including eight teams centered around the top winning teams, including Asahi Kasei, which won the 2025th All-Japan Corporate Ekiden Championship (New Year Ekiden) held on Wednesday, January 1, 1, and one team selected from the corporate union.
University Student Team:A total of nine teams will be selected, including the eight schools that placed in the top positions in the All-Japan University Ekiden held on Sunday, November 2024, 11, and one Kansai University Federation selected team.
*The corporate teams Asahi Kasei and Kao withdrew from the tournament, meaning that a total of 16 teams will take part.
Team introduction page
Traffic restrictions will be in place for approximately three hours in the morning. The restriction will last for approximately 75 minutes, starting 30 minutes before the runners pass by.
